Unit 5 LO1.1. Presentation on different campaigns

pitch notes

A few of the suggestions which Glyndebourne gave me after the presentation where.
  • Try not to make the animation of the sheep not to graphic so it doesn't offend anyone.
  • with my poster if i use print people often use a portrait image but on a website a lot of it is landscape, so she said it would be worth designing two versions, could use really erratic designs if posting online.
  • On my questionnaire it would be a good idea to put contact details in at the bottom because then I'm all ready collecting my database for my next production or post.
I think that all these suggestions were perfectly reasonable and useful for me, so i am going to stick with them because i feel it would work out allot better if i did.

the message comunicated was come and see the film because it has the newest technoligy involved and should have breathtaking effects

Unit 5 LO1.2. AIDA analysis on a campaign

Aida is a marketing term for people who analyse adverts. it stands for
A. Awareness, make the customer aware of your product, message or services
I. Interest, make the customer interested by explaining features, benefits or justifying opinions
D. Desire, convince the customer they want your product or that they agree with you
A. Action, lead customers to purchase your product or take action

awareness- the TV add makes people aware by showing the BT home hub just after letting the family in to view the house the sales mans says "o i notice you've seen the BT home hub" using a bit of humor, the message is to middle class people in this add it kinda got directed towards men given the expression that its a gadget.

interest- the sales man explains allot about the benefits of the home hub by saying about 8 meg wireless broadband, built in security, free evening and weekend calls over the net and he said " soon your be able to handle TV & videos on demand then a women's voice speaks over all & says "bt home hub has all the technology to meet all them needs" it shows a average sized family moving in to a house it gives a message that the bt home is a accessory for a home.

desire - just the look of it is convising its the newest toy for men to play thing i looks great it looks like it owner has money its flashy.

Unit 5 LO1.2. Target audience analysis

my target audience is aged 15 to 19
they will live in the south east so close to glyndebourne

how you will persuade your target audience to take notice of your campaign and its message

i will use a pop up for facebook and other social networks. i will also use a poster that will be put up in schools and collages around my target area.

how you will distribute or broadcast your campaign

my pop up will be sent around to as many people as i can manage. and my poster will be in all of the schools in the local area. so i am hoping that the distribution of my campaign will be as much as possible

what materials and equipment you will need to promote your message

to create my pop up i will need; computer, photoshop, flash and an internet connection.

to create my poster i will need; computer , photoshop, and lots of paper.

which elements you will use across the different campaign elements, Such as themes, logos, messages etc

for my pop up i will use a blank box with the sounds of a city in the background and then the knight crew and glyndebourne logo's will appear as if sprayed on to the box by spray paint and then there will be a few reviews of the book so people will have an understanding of what it will be like.

for my poster i am using the theme of an old musical poster from andrew lloyd webber. i will have a black background and a silhuette of a knife in the middle withe the logo's in the same places they would be for mypop up.

how you plan to measure the success of your campaign.

i plan to measure my success by asking everyone and keeping a tally of who came because of who's campaign. i plan to do this during the interval. the only problem i may encounter is i may miss out some people.

campaign ideas

Animation
In my animation I want to start with a blank black square with the sound effect of a spray paint can being shaken up and then spraying something. While the can is spraying the knight crew symbol appears as though it is being sprayed on the black square. Then there will be a sound scape of all the things you would here while in the setting of the knight crew.

Poster
On my poster there will be a picture of a city street and a couple of sheep are spray painting the knight crew and Glyndebourne on a wall

bt broadband advert

in the bt broadband advert the message they are sending is the fact that they are selling the home hub and are focusing on that as if it the best thing in the world. they interest you in the way of tellin men that it a gadget and all men should have 1 while the voice over shows that the women would talk about it as if it was the best new addition to the house. they try to get us to desire the product but as a student still living with my mum i have never desired anything that will make my home better as i see that as my mums job. it should get some customers to make some action but not this one

my viral ad

my favorite viral ad has got to be this one check it out
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=AbTSmOS_m6Q

viral campaigns

in today's lesson we were looking at viral campaigns. for example think of the cadburys gorilla and the eyebrows. these are known as viral campaigns because when someone watches them they tell their friends. then their friends will try to see it. and it will keep on going until everyone knows about it. in our course we are going to try to create a viral campaign for a product of our choice. we have also been told to tell you about the cadbury's gorilla which i expect you all to know about. in it there is a gorilla sitting behind a drum kit while phil colins song in the air tonight is being played and when the drums come in the gorilla starts playing it. also the diet coke advert has 2 scientists with 101 2liter bottles of coke and 535 mento's and all they do is make patterns with the foam that shoots out of the bottles.

persil campaign

in our lessons we were asked to look at advert campaigns and i looked at the persil 100 years advert campaign. i looked at their internet site and am still working on what i need to do so will post more when im done safe

drug drive campaign

in the newest of the road safety advert campaign they are looking at "drug driving" which basically means that your are under the influence of a drug. in the advert there are 4 or 5 people in a car while under the influence of drugs. all of the people in the car have very wide eyes which is showing how the police can spot if you are stoned. it is giving all those who see it a fear that the police will be able to spot them from their eyes. so the Creator is playing on a symptom of smoking cannabis which is paranoia. also in the advert it tells you that if you are caught driving while intoxicated with marijuana the consequence's are the same as drunk driving. the target audience for this campaign is any one who smokes cannabis and drive while mashed
